A great Psychologist once said the locus of expectations from an individual is the role of that individual. Obviously this is only the case if we are somehow willing or induced to play those roles! One way of looking at this is that if we have unified vision of the future and that future vision becomes a dominant cycle (using UTOE & ITOE terminology) or is accepted as such, then we are likely to play that role!
